Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Tezpur is inviting applications for recruitment of two (02) Project linked persons (one for each project) purely on temporary basis to work on the following projects in the Theoretical and Applied Sciences Unit (TASU) of the Indian Statistical Institute, North-East Centre, Tezpur, Assam.

- Modeling crop growth and detection of stress regions during the growing season in Sonitpur district, Assam
- Assessment of atmospheric particulate matter (PM 2.5) and associated elemental carbon, organic carbon and water soluble organic carbon at Tezpur, Assam
Education Qualifications :
For project 1
- Essential : Master’s Degree in Physics/Remote Sensing/Applied Geology/Geoinformatics or MSc in CS / Electronics or MCA or MTech in CSE/IT/ECE/ETE/Applied Optics or related discipline from any recognized University.
- Desirable: Experience in field spectroradiometer measurements.
For project 2
- Essential: Master’s Degree in Environmental Sciences/Earth Sciences/Chemistry or related discipline from any recognized University.
Pay : Consolidated pay ranging from Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 32,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience
Age : Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 July, 2020. Age may be relaxed for exceptionally bright candidates with relevant research experience. Usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently abled candidate(s)
