Applications are invited for recruitment in the Incubation center at the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati for selection of suitable candidate for the following posts, on contractual basis:
IASST, Guwahati Recruitment 2019-Incubator Manager/ Manager/ Office Assistant
1. Incubator Manager
Pay: Rs 65,000/- consolidated
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in Management with a Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering. Minimum 15 years of work experience including business development, administration, entrepreneurship and works in technology commercialisation.
2. Manager (Bio-sciences)
Pay: Rs 45,000/- consolidated
Educational Qualification: PhD in Life Sciences with Masters in Biotechnology/allied subjects.
3. Office Assistant
Pay: Rs 25,000/- consolidated
Educational Qualification:
Graduate with min. 3 years of work experience and proficiency in the usage of computers.
Age: The age is to be calculated as on 01/12/2019. The age limit shall be as follows-
o Incubator manager: Preferably below 50 years.
o Manager (Bio-Science): Preferably below 35 years. (relaxable by 3 years for candidates having Industry/ Start-up / Post Doctorate experience).
o Office Assistant: 27-32 years. Additionally, post superannuation candidates also may apply.
Age limits are further relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms.

Other terms and conditions:
1. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
2. The age limit, qualifications, experience and other requirements may be relaxed at the
discretion of the Selection Committee, in case of deserving candidates.
3. The applicants shall be required to present their original certificate on the date of
the interview, which shall be notified subsequently.
4. There shall be 10% annual increment in the remunerations. In case the Incubation
Center is able to generate additional extramural funds or revenue from its activities, then
the remunerations of the personnel of the incubation center shall be revised or incentives
shall be provided, based on the contribution of the incumbent in getting/generating the
additional funds.
5. The incumbents will be primarily posted at the campus of IASST, but may require
extensive traveling as per necessity.
